Haut-Medoc 5th Growth
Château de Camensac is an estate that was built in the 18th century and that since 2014 has been managed by Jean Merlaut and his niece Céline Villars-Foubet. Two entrepreneurs who, in search of excellence and the best expression of the terroir, have made numerous technical investments under the supervision of the prestigious winemaker Eric Boissenot. Their wine of the same name, Château de Camensac, is a blend of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties. Made from a total of 86 hectares of vines planted in deep gravel soil, these vines enjoy an oceanic microclimate with mild winters and warm summers and are cultivated using integrated agriculture with biodynamic studies.
