Lisa Perrotti-Brown - Wine Independent: 94-96/100
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 Croix de Labrie prances out of the glass with gregarious notes of Morello cherries, black raspberries, and rose oil followed by hints of dark chocolate, anise, and cardamom. The medium to full-bodied palate is bright and fragrant, with beautiful tension and wonderfully fine-grained tannins, finishing long and minerally. This is impressive. The blend is 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Cabernet Franc, with pH 3.41.

Jane Anson: 94/100

The overall structure shows estate signature, concentrated but skilful and it works, showing a ton of fragrant dark spices, cumin, rosemary, sage, blueberry and raspberry fruits, vertical left through the palate that only happens in the really successful wine. 80% in barrels, 70% new oak for ageing. Good silver.

Antonio Galloni - Vinous: 92/100
The 2023 Croix de Labrie is a dense, potent wine. A rush of blackberry jam, spice, lavender, chocolate and plums races across the palate. Hints of new leather and dried flowers appear later. This full-throttle, dense Saint-Emilion is dialed up to the maximum. The opulent style works well here. Tasted two times.
